Directions

Directions for hot tea:

Add all ingredients (except coconut milk & stevia) in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, strain through a fine metal sieve into heat safe cups. Drink as hot tea without milk or milk alternative or add 1 tablespoon of coconut milk for a creamy texture. Sweeten with 1-4 drops of pure stevia extract if desired.

Directions for iced tea:

Add all ingredients (except coconut milk & stevia) in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, strain through a fine metal sieve into a heat safe mason jar or another heat safe container. Refrigerate until chilled.

Optional idea if you love lots of ice in your tea- once the mixture has cooled, pour half into an ice cube tray and freeze. Combine the chilled tea with the tea ice cubes for a refreshing beverage. Stevia may be added just before serving if desired.

Or try them both! One cup of each hot & cold: Brew the hot tea as above, enjoy half of the tea immediately and chill the other half for iced tea.
